In April, I turned 21 years old and as a birthday present I was able to go to New York City with Zack for a few days. I shared a few pictures about my trip on Instagram but the rest of the pictures were never used so I decided to write a short blog post here. Rather than covering everything that I did in NYC, I touched upon a few of my favorite moments.
I arrived in NYC on April 13th three hours late because my flight had been delayed. I was suppose to meet with Zack at the airport and take a car to the hotel but instead he had a chauffeur pick me up and drive me to the hotel. At that point, I was hungry and needed some American food to fill me up so we walked to the nearest Five Guys to eat some burgers.
On April 14th, I woke up waaaaay too early so I drank some coffee and watched videos in the lobby until breakfast. After breakfast, we went to MOMA. I hadn't been there before and I hadn't researched what art they had so I was surprised to see so many familiar paintings! In high school and in middle school I had taken art classes so many of the pieces and artists were familiar. I loved seeing Starry Night, and many art pieces from the cubism era.
We did quite a lot on the 14th such as eat out with Zack's friends, eat ice cream at the famous Big Gay Ice Cream, stop by to look at flowers, and more!
April 15 (MY BIRTHDAY) was full of surprises and smiles. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, then headed to SOHO to go to Laduree and other shops. Later that day, Zack surprised me with a tour around Tiffany's, and cake with a candle and a present in a private room at Tiffany's. I was definitely surprised by the set up in the private room and very touched.

This picture was taken when we were walking around SOHO and came across these posters.
Later that day, the hotel surprised me with delicious chocolate cake!
On April 16, I decided to quickly go to Hillsong Church however because it was Easter I came right when it was ending. Thankfully I was able to listen to one song and hear a part of the sermon. After that, it was time to pack and get ready to go back home.
If you would like to see more of what I did in NYC then here is a video I created!
