It's been a while since I wrote a blog post and I thought it was about time I came up on here! The last "My American Life" blog post was posted in early November and so I will update you guys.

In November, I went to Lexington, KY for Owen’s first birthday. It was so cute!! Owen loved the attention and eating all the cake. He got cake all over his face, head, and tray table. Go on my Instagram or my sister's Instagram to see all the photos!

I also had work in November, volunteered in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena, and celebrated Thanksgiving in Dallas and Arkansas.

In December, winter break began after a week of finals. I spent time in Nashville, Lexington, and Orlando during my break. It was my mom's 50th birthday so we celebrated her birthday in Lexington and with a cabin trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. All of my siblings and my mom rented out a cabin for a few days to go hiking, spend time together out in the wilderness. We were also able to spend Christmas together before I flew out to Orlando for a week.

January rolled around very quickly and I got news from my now former roommate that she would be moving out. It came as a huuuuge surprise and shock that she was giving me a short notice and that she was moving out. We had agreed that she would move out in December when we both graduate; however she went back on her word. It is now almost March and I still have no been able to find a roommate due to the school semester having started last month. I have started looking at different options to either move to Nashville or then finding another job to pay for the full rent and electricity.

This past month has been pretty slow. I volunteered at a Christian music conference called Worship Together, networked in Nashville, spent Valentine's Day weekend in Nashville, and have been getting ahead on schoolwork.

I hope I will have more time and ideas for my blog this year <3

Love,

Susanna
