Galentine's Party!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I decided to write a short Galentine's Day post. Last week Friday, I had a wonderful Galentine's Day party with my friends and I got some great ideas that I want to share with you!

I think the three main things that are needed for any party is food, activities, and decorations. I started making diy decorations and things of decoration ideas a few weeks before my party due to my busy schedule. I came up with the idea of creating a lip decor and tassel decor. They are extremely simple to do! Here are some decorations ideas for you:

- wall decor (tassel, lips)

- red or pink candles

- Wall decor gold hearts (here)

- pink, beige, or red table runner

- XO napkins (here)

- Gold straws

- Diy name placements/ cards

I had some simple Galentine's Day games that my friends enjoyed. Here are the templates I used:

- Galentine's Day Word scrabble (found at Target in the dollar section)

- What's On Your Phone (found found at Target in the dollar section)

For food I knew that I wanted to make a simple red velvet cake, make warm sandwiches, and candy. I also asked my friends to all bring small snacks such as grapes, chips, and chocolate. We had plenty of food and everyone loved the gesture of having a cake. It made it more festive! My red velvet cake had a cheese cream frosting. You can find the recipe here.

Everyone loved the simple yet fun Galentine's Day party where we could talk, catch up, and have fun together.
