It's been 10 years since the last time I was in the Seattle area and so much has changed yet stayed the same. I used to live in Seattle as a kid for 11 months so coming back here has brought back a lot of memories.
I arrived to the Seattle-Tacoma airport on Saturday evening after traveling all day. My friend, Irina, whom I hadn't seen for 10 YEARS picked me up from the airport. All I did on Saturday was catch up with my friend and her family a little bit and then head to bed.
On Sunday, I visited my church that I used to go to when I lived in Seattle. The people there have always felt like my family. After that, I quickly stopped by the house I used to live it. It felt pretty surreal. Later that day my friend and I went to Snowflake Lane at Bellevue. It's an amazing Christmas parade. During the parade there are bubbles that start blowing down from the buildings and it looks like snow! After that I met lots of new people and talked with them.

On Monday, my friend, and I went to explore Seattle downtown. We started off by looking at and around the Space Needle. Sadly, it is under construction right now so I didn't see it actually looks. We also looked around the piers, Pike Place Market, and the Gum Wall. Pike Place Market had lots of different goodies, and we found a place that made nutella crepes. They were delicious! We took pictures, walked around for a few hours, and then headed back to my friend's house.

Tuesday. On Tuesday, my friend and I went to Bellevue to go to a cafe called Fika House Kafe. It was a very Nordic style cafe that is perfect to take instagram pictures at. After that, I headed to the airport and flew to Nashville.
Love,
Susanna
