Apartment Renovations!

It's been the most hectic last few months. We moved into our new apartment at the end of March and we had a month until the first stage of renovations began. We personally would have liked the renovation to have been done in March before we moved or then not at all but the renovation was not done by us. It was done due to the apartment company wanting to upgrade the living spaces.

To begin, the renovations were done in two different stages. The first stage included renovating the kitchen, closets, and changing the shower set. The first stage took a total of two days from 8am to 6pm both days. In the evenings, we were able to come home for the night. The worst part of this stage was the DUST. There was so much dust everywhere but thankfully we covered most of our things and had many things in boxes. The first stage was on April 25th and 26th.

The second stage was completed in a day on May 8th. For this stage we needed to pack all loose items or items that could not be easily moved around. This stage included all the floors, sockets, and siding on the floors to be changed, and a new mirror cabinet in the bathroom. Thankfully this stage was a lot cleaner meaning there was barely any dust. I love the new floors! They make the apartment look so much nicer and homey!
